    A cool moist winter continued into Spring and was followed by fine weather during flowering. This resulted in higher than expected yields and a slightly late harvest. A warm dry Summer ensured disease free Chardonnay grapes, and fine weather during the harvest season allowed grapes to ripen under ideal conditions. These factors produced Chardonnay grapes with rich and fresh varietal flavours, particularly in the cooler regions of South Australia where this wine is sourced. Medium straw with deep vibrant green hues. Bouquet. Intense white peach and melon fruit with a background of nutty oak and buttery complexity. Palate. White peach, melon and citrus fruit flavours are quite fresh and long which marry well with the nutty, cedar oak flavours. The texture is soft and creamy and balanced by a fresh acid finish.
